Remote Area Medical clinic -Brookfield
Hosted by Salud for Mahoning
September 25-26, 2027 | Brookfield High School
Too many people in our community must choose between paying for groceries and receiving the healthcare they need. Our neighbors face dental pain, worsening vision, and untreated health concerns because they are uninsured or cannot afford care. Together, we can help change that.
On September 25-26, 2027, Salud for Mahoning Valley will host a Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinic at Brookfield High School. Remote Area Medical will provide free medical, dental, and vision care. Expected services include dental cleanings and extractions, eye exams, prescription eyeglasses, and general medical screenings. Care will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, as time and resources allow. No insurance or identification will be required.
RAM has demonstrated the impact of this community effort in the Mahoning Valley. When RAM last served the area in September 2019, 650 volunteers helped provide $293,200 in free care to 722 patients over one weekend.
Bringing a RAM Clinic to our community also requires local support. Salud for Mahoning Valley is working with residents, businesses, organizations, and community leaders to prepare a welcoming clinic environment.
Funds raised will support local expenses for the Remote Area Medical Clinic hosted by Salud for Mahoning Valley. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by July 2027 for local logistics, including the venue, meals, lodging, security, and volunteer hospitality.
We also need volunteers with a wide range of skills. Clinical and non-clinical volunteers play an important role. Volunteer registration is now open at ramusa.org/volunteer.
Your support can help bring free healthcare within reach for our neighbors. Please consider a financial contribution, an in-kind donation for an approved local need, volunteering, or sharing clinic information.

Thank you for helping us prepare to welcome and serve our neighbors.
Sincerely,
